Over 30 years ago, Charles Jones, a seasoned entrepreneur from the Northeast, saw a challenge that needed solving. Across the wastewater treatment and related industries, there was a growing demand for innovative, biological solutions that could truly make a difference. Charles answered that call by founding Enviro-Tech of America, Inc., launching a line of high-potency, high-performance microbial productsdesigned to deliver results.
In the early years, Enviro-Tech partnered with a Fort Lauderdale manufacturer of PX-700® Bio Stimulant/Microbial Optimizer, serving as a master distributor and building a strong foundation in the industry. But Charles didn’t stop there. In 2004, he took a bold step, purchasing the patent, trademarks, formula, manufacturing process, and equipment for PX-700®. He moved the manufacturing plant to Cape Coral, Florida, bringing production and innovation under one roof.
As industries from wastewater to food processing presented new challenges, Enviro-Tech’s research team rose to meet them. Their work led to the creation of the System 1000, a static port aerator mixer that became a gamechanger for grease and odor reduction in sewer lift stations and wastewater pits. Proven through independent studies at University of California, Sacramento, the System 1000 with PX-700® significantly reduces F.O.G., BOD, and TSS, setting a new standard in performance.
Innovation became the company’s hallmark:
• 2005: Development of Bio-Stim-Zyme, a multifaceted biological product containing PX-700®microbial optimizer, CompleteZyme “L”microorganisms and Synergy, the most potent high performing enzyme.
• 2014: Launch of the GTX3 Food Service Program to help the food service industry reduce passthrough fats, oils, and grease (F.O.G.) from food service grease traps/interceptors going into sewer systems, a solution now recognized nationwide.
• Responding to restaurant needs, the GTX3 Food Service Programdeveloped organic floor cleaners to work synergistically with the biology in grease trap/interceptors. The floor cleaners also promoted a safe anti-slip surface.
• Our GTX3 Food Service Program also tackles canola oil remediation.
• 2025: We enhanced our emphasis on educating people on microbial optimization with the use of PX-700® (a non-chemical, enzyme or bacteria for accelerated remediation).
Our innovations have earned notable recognition:
• PX-700® is listed in the EPA’s National Contingency Plan (NCP)for Oil Spill Cleanup Programs.
• Licensed by California’s Department of Fish and Wildlife as a Bioenzymatic Cleaner for oil spill cleanup.
• Continued breakthroughs in odor neutralization, from misting and fogging to hydrogen sulfide elimination.
Today, Enviro-Tech of Americais recognized across the United States and beyond for microbial optimization in remediation. Our staff includes some of the brightest leaders in environmental technology, and our commitment to evolving solutions has never been stronger.
For more than three decades, we’ve met the toughest wastewater treatment challenges head-on, and we’re just getting started.
We are ever-changing, ever-evolving, just as the world around us changes and evolves.
